Mulch is partially composted organic waste. We take horse manure and food waste waste through the normal compost process but halfway through, when we see the white mycelium network developing, we halt the compost process. This creates a mulch that is the right carbon:nitrogen ratio for your garden.

Application
 
One 50L bag of mulch will cover a 3 m² area with an approx. 5cm thick layer.
Clear the area of weeds and grass before applying.
Spread mulch evenly over the soil surface to a depth of 5–8 cm
If mulching around plants, make sure all leaves of the plant are above the layer of mulch.
Top up yearly to maintain an effective, thick layer.
