Product Info

Topsoil is the uppermost layer of soil, typically the top 15-30 cm, where roots grow. It differs from compost because top soil is mixture of different soil types, like sand, silt, and clay, whereas compost is mainly decomposed organic matter.

Topsoil is often applied to

  • Establish new planting areas,
  • As a fill material for planter boxes,
  • Topping up existing gardens that have sunk,
  • Filling in ditches on your lawn

Our Enriched Top Soil is a blend of top soil and compost so that you don't need to prepare the top soil yourself - you can use it directly.
