COVID-19 RECYCLING SUSPENSION

Dear valued recycler

Pres. Cyril Ramaphosa's announcement that almost all businesses must be suspended has put us in an unfortunate, yet necessary, situation. It is the worst feeling for a progressive startup like ours to be forced to suspend, nevertheless, we support the nation in combating this threat and do what we can to contribute.

Although we see ourselves as an essential service to the planet, the police may not agree yet, so we have no choice but to suspend waste collection until the situation is under control. The last collection will be Wednesday 25 March and we will also deliver your free vermicompost on this day. Tim received training on safe handling procedures and will strictly be wearing safety equipment provided to him.

Although the business does not have much income yet, we will continue to pay our worker Tim a stipend so that he can make it through.

The suspension means that we will not invoice you for April collection. However, should you wish to continue supporting us during this time by continuing paying, we will provide vegetable seedlings (germinated in vermicompost) to you (in Dainfern Golf) so that you can grow more food at home and be less dependent on the shops. Let us know if you would like to participate?

Covid-19 has highlighted the importance of growing food at home and we are proud to have helped you prepare with vermicompost. This proves that we have the right mission and we will come back even stronger upon our return.

Thank you for your support thus far and into the future as well, good luck
